Looking out towards the Victoria State Library, the expanse of Melbourne lights up as the sun sets for the day. You can make out the fringes of the CBD, as well as the residential district of Carlton and the prestigious Melbourne University campus. To the naked eye, the lights from houses in the suburbs shimmer like stars in the darkened skies. The intersection to the left sits right in front of Melbourne Central, a busy station on the CBD's loop line and the tram stop in front of it, serving the rest of the city.
Zooming into the far left just beyond ME Bank, you can also see a glimpse of the Docklands with the West Gate Bridge, and the much-maligned and broken Southern Star Ferris wheel, Australia's attempted answer to the now-famous London Eye.
