The latest updates on the NocFree & as we head into the end of 2025
The NocFree & keyboard has been fully funded through Kickstarter and are moving to production. This is a keyboard which is fully split into two halves, and more interestingly, operates completely wirelessly. Other competitors need a cable to connect the two halves together, but the NocFree & dispenses with this.

With feedback provided by backers, the people at NocFree have enhanced their tenting kit for better ergonomics for those who like it (which also doubles as a stand) to include built in charging when docked. Coming in at USD 49 (currently available for early orders at USD 39), this will make charging easier, but this is just for convenience - users without the tenting kit can still charge by plugging each half in.
Additional colour options are now available for a total of seven variations: silver, black, pink, red, dark gold, camo green, and midnight blue. As the keycaps can be swapped out, these colour variations primarily impact the colour of the body.
In addition to ANSI and ISO keyboard layouts, they are planning to launch a Korean variant sometime later in 2026. It is quite surprising just how many options they are planning. Added to the fact that their original keyboard, the NocFree Lite is still doing well, provides a level of confidence that they will deliver.
We've also discovered the keyboard layout places the "B" button on the left hand side, which may cause concern for a sub-set of users.
The switches on offer currently consist of linear, and silent switches. While the switches are swappable, it appears that we will need to rely on those produced by Cherry, et al. I'm still trying to obtain clarification on which specific switches are compatible, and whether NocFree will eventually produce their own tactile and clicky switches.
