Google outdoes itself once again with their pirate treasure map take on Google Maps. Here we try to find as many landmarks as possible represented in piratey glory.
Last year Google brought us retro Google Maps, jokingly designed for the NES, showing all of the world in 8-bit glory. This year, it looks like Google managed to dig up an old pirates treasure map, and have given us the challenge of finding the clue which will invariably lead to treasure and great riches.
As with last year, many of the world's landmarks are represented here. We've gone on our own treasure hunt to try to find all the locations which are represented on the treasure map, in a way that even Captain Kidd would be proud of.
Did you spot any other landmarks? Share them with me and we'll build on the collection before Google deactivates the treasure map!
