Where to find genuine Oakley replacement parts.
While Oakley produces very comfortable and light sports glasses, they do rely on materials which need replacement, such as the rubber “sleeves” on the legs (or earsocks, as Oakley calls them), and the rubber nose pads, which in combination help glasses to stay on your face even during heavy workouts.
Oakley names the material “unobtanium”, which is quite accurate as third party replacements just don’t feel quite the same. I tried to replace the rubber leg sleeves with those from AliExpress, but the material was not as soft, and ended up hurting my ears.
Oakley doesn’t seem to supply parts directly to consumers, and the mainstream optical stores I visited don’t help either.
Fortunately, Queensland company Goggleman are able to source replacement parts directly from the distributor. Back in 2024, the replacement earsocks are AUD 15, and cost $3 for shipping. They were genuine parts, and fit perfectly on my glasses. Service was fast, friendly, and the prices were very reasonable.
If you need replacement Oakley parts to prolong the life of your glasses, give Goggleman a try.
